Back to church protocol

Beginning Sunday June 7th, we will begin in person meetings again. Listed below are the protocols we will have in place as we begin to regather.

  • HEALTH CHECKLIST

We will make every effort to comply with  CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of everyone who attends Highland Community Church. Following is a medical checklist for our return.

    • If you are sick, have a fever, present any signs of cold, flu, or COVID-19 symptoms, or if you have been in contact with anyone who has had COVID-19 in the past 14 days, please stay home.

    • If you are in a high-risk group, we encourage you to continue attending online during Phase 1.

    • Infants and toddlers will not be required to wear a mask.

  • SANITATION PRACTICES AND PROTOCOLS

Our heart is to keep every member of our fellowship as safe as possible during this trying time. With this in mind, we will use the following sanitation and prophylactic practices.

    • To help prevent the spread of infection, we ask everyone to wear a face mask.

    • Our entire facility will be cleaned and sanitized before and after every service.

    • The kids wing, café, kitchen, offices and back hallway will be closed to the general public at this time.

    • Hand sanitizing stations will be set-up in the foyer and in the auditorium.

    • Drinking fountains will not be available for use; however, we will be providing water bottles if needed.

    • We will not shake hands, hug, or high five. Instead, we will air hug, wave, and smile.

    • Chairs are spaced with social distancing in mind. While we encourage interacting, we also encourage maintaining a distance that is in line with CDC guidelines.

  • CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES

WE ARE A PART OF THE SOLUTION

This is a time when it is easy to wring your hands in fear and wonder what do we do. That isn't a bad thing. Wondering leads to creativity, and creativity leads to practical solutions to the problems that we face. Since none of us have ever lived through a pandemic or led through a pandemic, we need each other now more than ever. If you are looking for ways to get involved, go to our page at www.HopeCityMinistries.com and check out more information on Boxes of Hope.
